Ikimina Management System in Rwanda
Terintambwe is an Ikimina Management System in Rwanda designed for savings groups to manage contributions, loans, repayments, fines, payouts, investments, payroll, receipts and financial reports in one secure and transparent platform. Each Circle chooses either a monthly or weekly regular contribution plan during Circle creation.
Purpose of the system
To reduce dependence on manual books and scattered records, strengthen transparency and accountability, and give each Circle a structured way to manage savings, loans, earnings and member transactions.
Main features
Circle & Member Management
Manage Admin, Co-admin and Member access within each Circle.
Savings & Contributions
Support monthly or weekly contributions, together with special contributions. Each Circle selects one regular contribution plan — monthly or weekly — during Circle creation.
Loans & Repayments
Manage loan requests, approvals, interest and repayments.
Interest Share-Out
Distribute eligible Circle earnings to members and track payment balances.
Fines & Payments
Record fines, payment requests and approval status.
Payouts & Withdrawals
Manage member payouts, withdrawals and settlement history.
Cashbook & Transactions
Maintain a clear record of actual money in and money out.
Dashboards & Reports
Give members and administrators visibility of balances, activity and financial position.
Statements, Receipts & Member View
Access member statements, receipts, contribution history and member-level account views.
Income, Expenses & Investments
Record interest expenses, other income and expenses, review fund transactions and manage investments.
Investments
Create and record Circle investments so administrators can track investment activity alongside other group finances.
Contribution Monitoring & Data Upload
Update contributions, monitor arrears, manage contribution withdrawals and upload contribution records.
Fine Administration & Payment Queue
Configure fine settings, generate fines, manage fines and review pending fine payment requests.
Employees, Payroll & Approval Workflow
Manage Circle employees, monthly payroll, payroll settings and approval workflows.
Announcements, Social & Communication
Create announcements, use the social dashboard and keep members informed about Circle activities.
Imports, Reports & Account Security
Import existing loan records, access the reports centre and manage account password security.
Requirements to access the system
- 1 Registered account: your user account must be created and activated for the platform.
- 2 Active Circle membership: you must belong to an active Circle before you can view or perform Circle activities.
- 3 Valid login credentials: use the username and password assigned to your account.
- 4 Role permission: available functions depend on whether you are a Member, Co-admin or Admin.
